We are a community of three artists that create educational, interesting and fun films. The "Crew" from left to right: Laurette Schlitsey, Wayne Emley, Kati Beddow Brower Kati Beddow Brower is an educator and proprietor of her company Local Commotion Walking History which she founded in 1993. Its mission is to integrate performance with education, going beyond the scope of historical text. Kati is a graduate of Rutgers University in NJ, a writer, a vocalist and performer. She has performed and sang professionally since her teens. For years Kati has taught acting, Improv and had been the Director of a Jazz and Youth Project for over 6 years. She loves creating projects and ideas! Kati Beddow Brower is the Heroes project’s founder Wayne Emley has been involved in Theater and film since the age of twelve. After a year with the Clyde Beatty-Cole Bros. Circus as magician and fire eater, he did a hitch in the Marine Corps. Wayne has been an actor, stunt person as well as scenic carpenter. He has also taught theater crafts to young people grades 7 to 12. Wayne has already done a few short films by himself that are posted on the AdHoc Productions website. Laurette Schlitsey is a medical professional who is known for her organizational skills. She has many years of "behind the scenes" in theater as well as film experience. Her first loves are costume construction and photography. She has stage managed, designed, built, painted and decorated her way thru numerous musicals and plays. Teaching backstage theater craft to high school students was especially rewarding. As she approaches retirement she looks forward to having more time for her pursuit of interesting theater/film projects. |
